Yamaha YTR-8335 Bb trumpet
The Xeno Series represents a fusion of craftsmanship that involves outstanding instrument design, advanced technology, and the experience, talent, and dreams of respected artists around the world. These are trumpets that inspire. Their outstanding power and projection combines with refined resistance and response for extraordinary tonal flexibility. Xeno trumpets continue to evolve with the artists who play them, towards the ultimate goal of ideal musical expression.
The YTR-8335IIRS adopts a unique “reverse-style” design with staggered main pipe valve slides, creating a smooth response. A heavy mouthpiece receiver and daring removal of the third valve water key results in a superb balance of playability and tonal quality. With this model, musicians will be able to produce a firm sound in all dynamic ranges, from delicate pianissimo to powerful fortissimo.
YTR-8335IILA
Wayne Bergeron is well-known on the international music scene for his ability to bring brilliant performances to a wide range of genres. Mr. Bergeron joined the Yamaha development team in 2006 for initial development of the YTR-8335LA(S) Custom model, which has now evolved to its second generation.
Sought after in the screen music, big band, orchestral, and other fields, Wayne Bergeron demands extraordinary flexibility and versatility from his instruments. To meet that demand, the 1st generation YTR-8335(S) has been thoroughly reexamined and updated. The valve casing is the vital “heart” of any trumpet, and in the YTR-8335LAII(S) it has been revised with heavy phosphor bronze bottom caps for the first time in the Yamaha trumpet lineup. The results include brilliant high notes, accurate pitch, and rich harmonics that raise custom trumpet performance to soaring new heights.
